I love Minumurra, the hike to the top is well worth it, the last time we were there was about six years ago but the track didn't feel as long, maybe it had something to do with pushing two little ones in prams!! To get the shots I had to climb over the boundry fence which thankfully was allowed for photographers, You have to watch it though, it can be a bit slippery. I set up my tripod with a wide angle lens and a variable ND filter and a exposed the shots for thirty seconds to get the milky water.
Kiama sadly had no water shooting through the blow hole because of lower tide but still gorgeous views at sunset. You get that nice water spray through the air from the ocean and was lucky enough to get some sun rays through the trees being a mostly cloudy day. If you're ever headed to Jamberoo it's well worth visiting Minumurra and Kiama aswell, they're about a ten mins drive apart. These images are for sale so if you want one on canvas, please contact me for sizes and pricing at [email protected]
